A life-size dinosaur installation engineered for the Natural History Museum in Abu Dhabi. The sculpture integrates a sophisticated robotic structure that enables the neck and head to move with smooth, natural gestures.
A life-size dinosaur installation engineered for the Natural History Museum in Abu Dhabi. The sculpture integrates a sophisticated robotic structure that enables the neck and head to move with smooth, natural gestures.
Designed from
the inside out
The project required careful integration of robotics, structural engineering and surface finishing. The internal armature supports the movement system while maintaining the correct posture and proportions of the dinosaur.
Technicians and artists collaborated throughout the process, from the mechanical prototype to the final surface textures. The dinosaur becomes both a scientific exhibit and a demonstration of advanced fabrication and engineering.
