Since its inception back in 2004, we have provided engineering and construction services for unique pieces, building models and prototypes across industries such as rail, museums, automotive, robotics, and interior design.
Fuhtah was founded in 2004 by industrial designers David Rivera and Carles Carrera, trained at Escola Massana and Llotja, respectively. They met while working at BCT (Barcelona Technology Center), an engineering firm specializing in prototype construction for the automotive sector.
Their time at BCT and the Italdesign (Giugiaro Group) workshops became an invaluable learning experience, shaping the expertise they bring to Fuhtah today.
Over the years, the company has developed extensive know-how, allowing it to work with a wide range of materials and tailor solutions to client needs—whether in engineering, material consultancy, or construction processes.
Fuhtah’s team of 25 includes mechanical engineers, electronic technicians, designers, modelers, and administrators. Its 2,200 m² workshop and offices are conveniently located near Barcelona.
